Welcome to Schlesinger Cutting Horses
Steve Schlesinger has been operating his own cutting program since 2006. His training experience prior to starting his own program consisted of riding since childhood as well as apprenticeships under Steve Colclasure and Tom Long. Steve's first major career win came in 2008 when he won the PCCHA Open Derby on Cats Full Moon. Some additional career highlights include his 2010 Fort Klamath Futurity win on Hallie Cat, the 2012 PCCHA Open Classic Challenge Champion aboard Romeos A Cool Cat, finalist on Check Counter at the 2013 NCHA Open Futurity, finalist on Check Counter at the 2014 NCHA Open Super Stakes and most recently Steve was the 2017 NCHA 5k Novice World Champion. The Schlesinger training facility is located at 5855 Jahant Rd in Galt, California.
